| Video Discription | Cinema halls are shut, all over the world, due to the impact of Covid-19. A mask, which has become a necessity in these current times, is blocking the light from the big screen, from reaching the seats in a closed cinema hall. Slowly, four openings appear on the big black mask, in the classical 1:1:33 academy ratio, representing the four venues of the 25th IFFK – Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thalassery and Palakkad, spreading light to the seats. We see the audience coming back to the cinema hall and getting seated, following social distancing norms. The crow pheasant bird (mascot of the Kerala Chalachitra Academy) enters the hall and flies to the screen, spreading light all over. The four openings on the screen transform into four frontline workers, who have been our saviours during these unprecedented times. The entire frame revolves to reveal the logo of the 25th International Film Festival of Kerala.
