They are COLIN (23), a youth worker who’s too kind for his own good; HARRY (28), a stiff and studious soil analyst; KAYE (25) a confident up-and-coming R&B artist; NIDAL (30) a furious rapper rejected by the industry, and EVE (18), a ball of fear in pyjamas. A spotlight illuminates their captor, DYNAMO (20). She tells the disparate party that they have been carefully selected to play ‘Rhyme or Die’. A beat kicks in as she lays out the rules: Everyone has to improvise rhymes to the beat, and failure... is fatal.
