Address: Meghalaya 793015 Location: https://tinyurl.com/y2rt7tg7 After this we went bada bazar vegetable market which is 1.5 km away from shillong, saw many vegetables that are sold locally. Red Rice restaurant: this is on GS road, walking distance from Police bazar. Following are the details of food items we had at this place.This restaurant is mostly famous for traditional, local food. Distance from Shillong is about 16 km,. If you are travelling from Guwahati, Umiam lake will come on your right hand side- 16 km short of Shillong. Most family restaurants in shillong close by 9 or 9.30 pm, so check the timings if you are getting late.
