Baljeet Parmar explains how Samra took over as Mumbai Police commissioner immediately after the Babri Masjit Demolition and subsequent communal riots in Mumbai at a highly volatile time and faced the first highly critical test of his professional career as serial bomb blasts rocked the city barely few months after his joining. Samra however managed to control further communal tensions and went to investigate the international conspiracy of rocking Mumbai with serial blasts having arrested several accused in a span of few days after the blasts had happened.
