Created as part of the British Council’s 2016 Shakespeare Lives programme, Gecko and Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre have worked together to create a vibrant new production to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Directed by Gecko’s Associate Director Rich Rusk and with Movement Direction by Gecko’s longstanding performer Chris Evans, The Dreamer premiered at Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre in October 2016.
