Celui-ci me répondit que son oncle travaillait dans un grand hôtel de Cannes sur la Côte d’Azur et qu’il lui avait confié détenir ce livre et ces photos d’une française qui aurait été la maitresse du Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III de la ville de Baroda (rebaptisée depuis Vadodara) sise dans l'État du Gujarat en Inde.
