Riddhima did her Bachelors Degree in Designing and Marketing from the American Intercontinental University in London. Riddhima is married with Delhi based businessman Bharat Sahani whom she met while studying at London. They dated each other for four years and after that they got married on 25th January, 2006. Bharat and Riddhima’s daughter Samara Sahni was born on 21st November, 2011. Riddhima wanted to be an actress in Bollywood but as per reports, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor did not want their daughter in the industry. Later, she wanted to be a singer, but Rishi and Neetu Kapoor wanted her to get married and settle down in life. She worked as a model for Notandas, a jewellery brand with her mother, Neetu Kapoor. Riddhima has also walked the ramp for noted fashion designers like Suneet Varma and Manav Gangwani. While doing modelling she got attracted with jewelleries and decided to start her own brand. In the year 2016, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani launched her own jewellery brand R Jewellery with her best friend, Anuj Kapoor of Punjab Jewellers. Her first ever jewellery designs were Evil Eye themed bracelets that were liked by people widely. In 2016’s September, Riddhima Kapoor’s brand designed earrings for popular American actress Goldie Hawn. In the year 2018, Riddhima Kapoor launched her own clothing brand called Sam & Friends which she named after daughter Samara. Riddhima Kapoor has earned many awards for her jewellery and clothing brand. In 2013’s October, Riddhima launched Godrej Nature’s Basket flagship store in Mumbai. Riddhima Kapoor received Femina Powerlist Award in the year 2017. In the same year, she was named as one of the top twenty five entrepreneurs in New Delhi. She received FICCI FLO Delhi Award in the year 2018. In the same year, she also received Delhiites Lifestyle Award for Jewellery Designer of the year. Being a Justin Beiber fan, she designed a bracelet for him and gave it to the pop star when he came to India for Purpose Tour. Riddhima Kapoor was involved with a controversy in 2018’s November month. This star kid was accused of plagiarizing the jewellery design of the famous designer Mikimoto Kokichi. Later she apologised, for not giving credit to the actual designer, through her Instagram post.
