| Video Discription | Rice Kesari Bath is a popular Indian dessert. There are many versions of this delicious saffron infused sweet rice. The main ingredient for making this dish is the aromatic short grain rice. You can use Jeera rice, ambe mohar rice, Gandhasaale or govinda bhog rice. I have used kalijeera rice and I must say they infuse a wonderful aroma to this dish. If any short grain rice is not available then use basmathi rice. Making Kesari bath is very simple. The rice is first soaked and then cooked in saffron infused water. It is then sweetened with sugar and a generous amount of ghee is added. It is finally finished off with cardamom powder.
