Raw masoor dal - 1 cup (approx. makes 10 dosas) 2. Garlic cloves - 4 3. Red chillies - 3 4. Salt - 1 and half teaspoons 5. Finely chopped onion - 1 cup 6. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 small cup * Method of preparation: 1. Take 1 cup raw masoor dal (not soaked or cooked), wash thoroughly, drain all the water and transfer into the mixer jar. 2. Also, into the mixer jar, add 4 garlic cloves, 3 red chillies and grind to make a thick smooth batter (ensure flowy consistency), adding water whenever required. 3. Next, transfer the ground batter into a broad vessel, add 1 and half teaspoons salt (can vary as per taste and quantity) and mix well. 4. Pour the batter on hot tawa to make a round dosa, garnish with chopped onion, coriander leaves, drizzle some oil and cook until both the sides are nicely done. 5.
