| Video Discription | Ribbon Pakoda is a crunchy aromatic snack you can enjoy either during festival season or as a tea time snack. Try it out this Diwali! RIBBON PAKODA besan flour - 1/2 cup rice flour - 1 cup white sesame - 1 teaspoon oil - 3 tablespoons Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste oil for frying For Grinding: fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon garlic - 6 cloves water little bit red chillies to taste STEP 1: Dough 1. Grind 1 tsp fennel seeds, red chilies, 6 garlic cloves and a little bit of water. Set aside. 2. Mix 1 cup of rice flour, 1/2 cup of besan flour, 1 tsp white sesame, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida 3. Add the ground chilli mix and 3 tablespoons of hot oil 4. Fold the dry ingredients onto the wet initially to diffuse the heat of the oil. Mix well with hand 5. Add room temperature water little by little as you mix. Dough is prepared when it comes together like chapatti dough. STEP 2: Frying 1. Use a plate with one slit in the muruku maker. Load the dough into the muruku maker and seal. 2. Heat oil for frying. 3. Press the muruku maker over hot oil while making circles. 4. Once ribbon pakoda's color changes, flip 5.
