| Video Discription | Building the Perfect Subaru EJ20 Engine - Full Build Review + Specs Andy from Scooby Solutions talks us through the build and the parts used in my Subaru Legacy 2.1 stroker EJ20 engine, or now EJ21 Using a nitrated ej25 crank, forged rods, pistons and a closed deck block this engine is capable of 600bhp and is now a EJ21. Aside from the ej207 that can be bought as a semi closed block and it already factory forged I wanted to future proof this EJ. The Ej207 can be had for about 2800pounds and once mated to the heads with its associated parts will be around 3800 to 4000 pounds , at this price I could have a basic ej21 built. I originally wanted to just be a rebuild but got carried away and went for everything.
