| Video Discription | This recipe of Stewed Fruits is the way to go if you are planning to bake Christmas Black Cake. Loads of spices, tons of flavors. Ingredients 1 1b Currant 1 1b Raisins 1 1b prunes ( remove seeds and cut if half) 1/2 1b cherries (Any other fruits of your desire) 3 bay leaves 2 cinnamon stick 1/2 tbs ground cinnamon 1 tsp mix spice 1 tbsp vanilla essence 1 bottle rum 1 bottle cheery brandy or wine Boil fruits for 2 hours under the lowest heat, check within that time frame add more water if needed. Allow to cool, pour in tight lid container along with Rum and Wine and allow to soak for at least a day before baking. |
