It is intended to cover the absolute basics of the Selection Wand, copy and paste, inset, expand, chunk selection, block replacement and undo. Read on for a more thorough explanation of each of the commands! The commands are also documented on the WorldEdit website: https://worldedit.enginehub.org/en/latest/commands/ //๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ Obtain the Selection Wand. Left-click to set the first block of a selection, right-click to set the second block. //๐ฌ๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ Changes every block within the selection to Cobblestone. Any block can be used here. Press tab while typing to accept auto-complete suggestions. //๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฒ, //๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ Copies the selection to the clipboard / pastes the contents of the clipboard. Note that the position of the player is significant when you run the copy command! If you are standing directly to the north of your selection when you copy it, then you will be directly north of the new region after you paste it. //๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐๐ญ ๐ Contracts the selection by 1 block in all direction. So, a 4x4 selection becomes a 2x2 selection. //๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฉ Expands the selection by 1 block upwards. //๐ฌ๐๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ซ Changes every block within the selection to Air. In other words, "deletes" the selected area. //๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ง๐ค Changes the selection to the chunk you are standing in. The selection will extend all the way from bedrock to the very top of the chunk. Press F3 + G to toggle chunk boundaries. //๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ_๐๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ค ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ Replaces all Grass Blocks in the selection with Cobblestone. Any blocks will work here. //๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ Expands the selection by 16 blocks (the width of 1 chunk), in the direction the player is facing. //๐ฎ๐ง๐๐จ Reverts the last command. //๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ง Regenerates the selected area to its natural state. Copy-friendly commands: //wand //set cobblestone //copy //paste //inset 1 //expand 1 up //set air //chunk //replace grass_block cobblestone //expand 16 forward //undo //regen In the past, external tools like MCEdit were used to view and edit Minecraft worlds.
