| Video Discription | In this video we share how we DIY 3 pine, 4 ft. stair treads and 6 brackets into farmhouse, rustic style open shelving over our coffee bar area. We instruct how we purchase, measure, cut, sand and install the shelving to transform the space in our small kitchen area into a functional, trendy, wall space over our coffee bar. The supplies we used and purchased were from Lowes and include:6 metal brackets, three 4 ft. pine stair treads and stain. These shelves can be stained any color you desire or also painted. There are also many variations of brackets you can use to hang the shelves. This gave us so much more storage area to display home décor pieces and seasonal items. Links to some of the décor pieces that are displayed on the shelves are listed above. This project took us ~3 hours to complete and around $80 not including the stain we used because we had it on hand from another project. Hope this is helpful and you enjoy the video.
