We’ve been living in this one-bedroom for nearly two years now, and whereas it felt a lot like a dark and scary cave when we first moved in here, now it truly feels like home 🏠💙 We love our little apartment and consider ourselves lucky to have, among other things, a bathroom with a window, lots of counter space, and a patio for our washing machine! There is a massive variety of apartments here in Korea (we have yet to find two of the same apartments), so as an English teacher you can never be sure about what you’re going to get. Some places (like ours) get mold, and so you will need to get a dehumidifier. Others have massive windows full of direct sunlight, so you will need to use a lot more A/C. If you are moving to Korea as an English teacher, don’t worry too much about it. No two apartments are alike and they each have their own pros and cons.
