Typically it is eaten as a evening snack with masala chai or cutting chai, but not restricted to try for breakfast too. An ideal and healthy snacks which can be part of tiffin box for kids and for adults too. There are several varieties and variations to biscuit recipe and it can be either prepared from wheat, plain flour or even with oats. Further it can also be extended by adding chocolate, jam, nuts and even ginger and cumin. This is my favorite biscuit recipe and hence i wanted to share a healthy one. I have already shared the wheat flour biscuits which is made entirely deep fry. While some may argue that cookie is just another synonym to biscuit but i disagree to it. Cookie’s are typically sweet snacks where as biscuit can be both sweet and savoury. Moreover, biscuit are generally crisp compared to cookies which are chewy in nature. Further, the cookie are usually round in shape and biscuits can be in round, square and even rectangle in shape. Furthermore, some important tips and suggestions for a perfect atta biscuit recipe. Firstly i have used wheat flour for this recipe. Alternatively, you can also use plain flour or maida and follow the same procedure. secondly, i had used oil here, but you can also use butter, but it must be always use the butter at room temperature and do not add the heated melted butter. Dont use any water or milk to combine dough, oil or ghee or butter is enough to make cookies.
