The Home Secretary of all the affected states should direct SP to the concerned districts to identify special police stations, where inter-caste marriages are going on. As soon as the information of the Khap Panchayat is being received, it will be communicated to the senior officers as well as SP and DSP. Contact the people of DCP Khap Panchayat immediately after getting the information and if the panchayat is getting related to marriage (inter-caste) then they should be explained. Tell the officer that this kind of meeting is not allowed on this subject. To prevent them, adequate police force should be deployed at the place of panchayat. LIKE...
