This is the first video in a set of videos that show what I personally carry and stock in my survival kits. I believe in being as well prepared as possible. A lot of the items here may seem like luxury items, but to keep items such as these in the trunk of your car or similar, doesn't take up that much space and allows for the peace of mind knowing you have enough gear to survive a difficult situation if necessary. Serious Survivor focuses mainly on the development of skills and techniques. This video is a breakdown of gear that can extend your survival-ability and durability in a WROL or SHTF scenario. Gear can never truly take the place of skills, but it can make the tasks easier and more efficient. I have what I consider 5 survival kits and then a series of locations planned and mapped out to give me what would possibly be my best chances of survival if I have to Bug Out. The first video focuses on my EDC (Every Day Carry) items , an Auto Kit that is designed for my vehicle and an Auto Bag that has a primary focus on extending the time i cab survive if I have to stay with my vehicle or close by.
