INGREDIENTS:
* Fox nuts/Makhana (मखाना) - 2 cup
* Dry coconut (सूखा नारियल)
* Almondette seeds (चिरोंजी)
* Raisins (किशमिश)
* Melon seeds (खरबूज के बीज)
* Almonds (बादाम)
* Cashew nuts (काजू)
* Ghee (घी)
* Pistachios (पिस्ता)
For Sugar Syrup:
* Sugar (चीनी) - 1 cup/200 gram
* Water (पानी) - 1/2 cup/100 gram
* Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर)
RECIPE:
Take some Fox Nuts (Makhana), long chopped Dry Coconut, some crushed Dry Coconut/Desiccated Coconut, Almondette Seeds, Raisins, Melon Seeds, Almonds & Cashew Nuts. Roast the Dry fruits in Ghee & roast the Fox Nuts also till they turns crispy. Then keep them for cooling down & crush the roasted Fox Nuts.
For Sugar Syrup, take a pan, put Sugar, Water & Cardamom in it & make Sugar Syrup of one string. Then put all the crushed & roasted Dry Fruits in the Syrup. Mix them well, put the mixture in a greased tray & spread it evenly. Garnish it with chopped Pistachios & keep it for drying. Cut it in pieces & the tasty Makhana Paag will get ready.
