Hello I’m Karl from the Channel DM with Karl Welcome to the World of Youtube Lets get you started quickly and easily The World of YouTube is a wonderful platform where you can have a voice, share your ideas and build a community using video I started on YouTube because I wanted to help photographers build an audience online and create a passive income business All Photographers have a passion for their work and something to share and I’m going to show you how easy it is to become a creator on YouTube Lets get Started The first basic step is to sign in to YouTube using a Google Account To Create a Channel go into your account settings and click create a new channel. The channel name will default to your first and last name But if you want to create a channel with a different name click on use business or other name And you will be prompted to create a brand account Brand accounts allow you to choose your channel name Let multiple people access and manage your channel, which is cool when you eventually have people helping you out When I started I didn’t know what a good channel name was so I just used my name and then after a while I choose the brand DM with Karl When choosing a name find a name that communicates what your channel is about And that is the first step to getting started on youtube So what are you waiting for there is an audience of photographers out there desperate to hear what you have to say.
