Welcome to the official Patreon for the Patrick (H) Willems channel! If you like the show and want to help us make it bigger and better, you've come to the right place. Look, this is not a Patreon where you're going to get a bunch of rewards mailed to you and get access to bonus episodes. That would be cool, but every episode of the show takes so long to make that we simply don't have time to make extra stuff as well. So then what's the point of this Patreon? Well, as you're probably aware, these videos have become increasingly ambitious and complicated to make over the past few years. I want the channel to constantly be growing and evolving and increasing in size and scope. The video essays started with just me in my bedroom recording a voiceover into a microphone, and now we have a whole team of people working on them, and each episode is like a mini-movie. And this has largely been possible because of the Patreon. The point of this is to fund the show, and as the Patreon grows, increase the budgets for each episode. All proceeds go toward paying the crew, covering costs of equipment, location rentals, and my striped shirt collection (that one was a joke).
