“What if instead of “us vs. them” we saw ALL of us vs. extremism…” And worked together to BUILD a future where we acknowledge each other’s humanity and find solutions to our most challenging problems? Recognizing the global interconnectivity of extremist thinking, and the worldwide challenges posed by toxic polarization, Starts With Us is building upon our foundational work to take our mission global with Builders — a non-profit focused on overcoming toxic polarization worldwide, and on solving our most challenging problems. We’re still doing what we have always done — equipping people with the skills, tools, and networks to overcome toxic polarization and find solutions together but under a new global initiative that opens the discussion to issues beyond our borders. What is a Builder? Builders are flexible thinkers and constructive problem solvers who recognize the dignity of all people. We: 1. Reject violent absolutism and dehumanization 2. Balance passionate convictions with critical thinking 3. Take action to solve problems together Are you ready to be a Builder? Watch Daniel Lubetzky 🇺🇦 TED Conferences talk: https://lnkd.in/eNDkDtz7
