I'm so done. I just can't with this franchise anymore. Nostalgia bait shit that ruins returning legacy characters and does nothing with the newer ones. Even the CG dinosaurs looked bored. It's the most nothing blockbuster I've seen in years. Just see Top Gun because there's about 500 percent more love and craft put into it than this pile of shit. At least Jeff Goldblum was fun like he usually is.

I just spent 10 minutes reading reviews for this on Letterboxd and man do I feel bad for the people that couldn't or didn't want to have fun with this. Such a great little film that's both original and gorgeous to look at. It's out of its damn mind for sure but man did I have a blast.
It makes me so sad that a masterpiece like this will go unseen by the majority of the public and creatively bankrupt shit like Blumhouses' own Truth or Dare will be seen and make tons of money.
Please go see Upgrade. It's a great Sci-Fi thriller with some real emotional value (mainly thanks to Logan Marshall Green's terrific performance) and some fantastic action. It's so original and fun. Also stop calling Green low rent Tom Hardy. I think he proves that he's at least on par with Hardy when it comes to talent.
