Since i really liked this mod i decided to get the permission from the owner and rework it.

The Mercedes-Benz 300SEL W108/W109 Mod:

The Mercedes-Benz W108/W109 300SEL was a classic luxury sedan produced from 1968 to 1972. It represented the epitome of elegance and sophistication during that era and is still highly regarded by enthusiasts and collectors today.

Leveraging advanced engineering and innovation of its time, this vehicle represents a defining moment for the brand. The iconic 3.5 V8 (M116), 4.5 V8 (M117), and formidable 6.3 V8 (M100) engines are at the heart of this marvel, pushing the boundaries of performance and setting a new standard for the era.

During its production from 1968 to 1972, the Mercedes-Benz W108/W109 300SEL exemplified a new pinnacle of automotive luxury. Its exquisite craftsmanship, opulent interior, and attention to detail set unparalleled standards in elegance and comfort, solidifying its place as a true icon of its era.

Future plans (if you wanna help with any of them hit me up):
Remake the model.
Remake the jbeam.
Making a new engine model (current one sucks)
Make the lights have pbr without needing to have bloom enabled
Make oil / fuel gauges work
Make the underside better
Make the trunk not shake like if theres a earthquake after opening
Remove sunroof because inside of the interior there actually isnt one

And also since everyone keeps asking , yes i will make the red pig (Rote Sau) config:

Good mod, the only bugs i found were:
-license plate opens with trunk
-no texture on steering wheel
-that weird red light on the back of the car.

 

Hello thanks for the report i already tried fixing the steering wheel texture but with no success i will be asking one of my friends to help.
And also im seeing that the lights dont have pbr you can fix that by enabling bloom.

You can open the trunk? I can’t open the trunk or rear doors.

Edit: I can open the trunk, but not the rear doors.

Sorry for the inconvenience i think ill remove openable trunk and rear doors as i do not know how to fix them.

you dont understand how hard it is to make a mod but maybe in a year sure why not

 

i love old mercedes cars like this, i dont know why

 

the exact reason i reworked it , im still reworking like 4 other old mercedes mods because i just love them

 

You can fix the out of place brake light by removing
