Bionic Face Shield

This Bionic Face Shield comes with a tough clear polycarbonate visor to protect against flying debris and work area chemical splashes. The full face shield design offers excellent peripheral vision, chin protection and extended top-of-head coverage. Dielectric construction ensures safety in electrical environments.

The lightweight, ergonomic design and rear foam padding ensure long-wearing comfort, while a dual-position setting allows for a customized fit. The visor is replaceable with multiple tint options. Must be worn overtop of other safety eyewear, and fits well with most goggles and respirators.

    Aunque sé que esta careta está para protección facial en talleres, yo la compré como careta protectora de seguridad sanitaria, ya que las que se suelen encontrar son frágiles y de materiales de mala calidad.

    EMPAQUE
    Llegó preensamblada en su caja sellada de fábrica: Sólo se trató de atornillar el arnés (que ya venía ensamblado) en la careta.

    LA CARETA
    La mica viene con dos películas protectoras: una en cada cara. Una vez que se las quitas queda cristalinamente transparente. No se empaña. La careta es abatible hasta en 90º.

    EL ARNÉS
    Es muy cómodo. la cinta que va en la frente es acolchonada, por lo que no resulta molesto en ningún momento. Para ajustar la parte trasera sólo basta con presionar la perilla, girarla hasta que quede ajustada y soltarla.

    Aunque el tamaño pude resultar aparatoso, sobre todo en cabezas delgadas, en general, toda la careta es muy ligera, es como llevar una gorra puesta. La visión es tan transparente que pareciera que tienes puestas unas gafas sin aumento. No resulta claustrofóbica. Si se agarra exclusivamente de las partes negras, no tiene por qué dañarse, ensuciarse o rayarse la mica. Suelo guardarla en una bolsa de tela para que esté protegida contra el polvo y respire después de cada uso.

    Me cupo perfectamente la mascarilla KN95. Se puede usar también con goggles y con gafas.
