Hi everyone. I'm Rob and I make educational videos about wildlife and reconnecting to nature. Why? I feel like I'm witnessing a population who desperately needs a return to nature in many ways - and an industry and culture that is taking us in the opposite direction.&nbsp; I have spent most of my adult life making educational websites and videos to&nbsp;to aid scientists, educators, and wildlife filmmakers in an effort to teach others about the natural world. You're probably here because of that work.I don't do it for the money, but instead because I feel a deep calling to tell these stories appropriately and in a way that others can learn from easily. I find ways to make it all work, but usually that means I work side jobs to makes ends meet for the family and then I spend the rest of the time teaching here online. I strive to be financially independent so that I can tell the stories I think most need to be told. I am not&nbsp;funded by some corporate powerhouse, which means I have a great deal of freedom. When I make a videos, I'm speaking my mind and trying to give you perspectives on the world that I've developed over the last 20 years as a biologist and communicator. My agenda is to help everyone live better lives as we interact with the natural world. I think it is important, and my goal is to be able to do it full time and even bring on some extra help to do create more content. I'm getting closer every day! Our house meant so much to us, but I had to take it out. The oak floors were from the trees in the area in 1941. I saved some of it and put the words "Do Hard Things" into it. It would look cool as a desk ornament or sitting on a bookshelf. *Unfortunately I can't send international - unless you're willing to pay for the extra shipping (it can get a bit pricey).
