| Video Discription | Poli is a puri pocket filled with sticky sweet coconut and sesame seed filling, perfect as tea time snacks! Ingredients for "Puri" (makes approx. 36 medium Poli) 3 cups all purpose flour 1/4 tsp salt 3 tbs sour milk 2 tbs ghee 1 &1/4 cup water (to feel) Ingredients for filling (fills 12 Poli) 1 cup desiccated coconut 3 tbs sugar 1 tbs sesame seeds (washed and dried) Pinch nutmeg 1/2 tsp elachi powder For frying ~2cm oil in a non-stick frying pan 2 tbs ghee Serve hot with a cup of tea. Poli can be frozen unfried and used as required. |
