Watch and learn how to make soft Rava Laddu / Sooji Ke Ladoo in Hindi from our chef Archana Arte on Tasty Safar. Rava Laddu is a delicious sweet snack recipe popularly prepared during Diwali festival where sooji is roasted in ghee and then mixed with coconut and sugar to make soft laddus. Ingredients: 1 tbsp Ghee 1 Cup Semolina (Sooji/Rava) 1 Cup Grated fresh coconut 1 Cup Sugar 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder 2 tbsp Milk Almonds, finely chopped Pistachios, finely chopped Method: - In a pan heat some ghee. Then add semolina and roast it till semolina changes slight color. - Remove it in a pan and let it cool down. - In an another pan add grated fresh coconut, sugar and milk. Mix well till sugar dissolves. - Add cardamom powder and finely chopped almonds & pistachios. Mix well. - Switch off the flame and then add the roasted semolina to it. Mix well. Keep the mixture aside for 5-7 minutes to cool down. - Take small portions of the mixture and give it a round shaping forming laddus. - These laddus stay in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
