It’s the ancestral land of the Maharajahs, the last Rajput horsemen and desert tribes. Situated near the Pakistani border, the Thar Desert is the realm of scorching winds and storms that can obliterate everything. Pabu was born in the Thar Desert. He never left these steppes of his childhood. Pabu belongs to the tribe of the Bhils, the hunters. He has worked tirelessly at bettering the lives of the women and men of his community: The Untouchables of the Thar Desert. Geraldine, an adventurer from France, has fallen in love with the landscapes of India’s Rajasthan. Riding through the region on her motorbike, she searches for routes to take tourists on tours. Ajeet is a horseman, a descendant of Rajasthan’s warriors, the Rajputs, literally “Sons of Kings.” At 32 years old, he’s continuing on the path of his family for 8 generations. Ajeet is an ardent defender of the Marwaris, the horses of Rajasthan that nearly became extinct.
