| Video Discription | The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, affectionately known as "Kent's Mainline in Miniature", is one of the best known narrow gauge railways in the UK. However, for all of its glittered history and intricate nuances, one of the other drawing spectacles of the line has been the impressive speeds and performances that the locomotives attain. The RH&DR has a maximum speed limit of 25mph (restricted further on some sections). However, with the locomotives built to 1/3rd scale of their full size counterparts, the result means they're achieving a scale speed of 75mph - making for a fantastic sight across the Romney Marsh. Over the last three years, the cameras have been lucky enough to catch a variety of the RH&DR fleet in steam, hammering along the Kent coast at speed.
