The 2024 Honda Civic Type R has a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder matched to a 6-speed manual transmission with rev match control, 315 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This is a FWD model and premium fuel is recommended. There is just one 2024 Honda Civic Type R trim, it starts at $53,293 CAD/$44,795 USD. The interior is racetrack inspired, with red sport fabric seats, Type R badging, a 10.2” digital driver display, 9” touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, a multi-angle rearview camera, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 6-way manual driver’s seat and a 4-way manual passenger seat. The Type R does not offer heated seats or a heated steering wheel. The 2024 Honda Civic Type R exterior is just as sporty as the interior with a rear wing spoiler, triple centre exhaust with chrome finisher, 19” black wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer performance tires and a tire repair kit.
