We suppose it can be interesting, especially if you without access to the Internet need to use forms to create documents and generate reports for their subsequent synchronization with data on the server. We’ve successfully finished an exciting project based on Vaadin 14 for an Australian company. The main goal of that project was to force existing application work without the Internet. We have implemented it by using PWA (progressive web application) technology which is possible to configure in Vaadin 14. That way of implementation has allowed us to install the app to IPad and use it without the Internet. |
