Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says he doesn’t believe the rumours circulating about the Russian President. “I don’t know how well he is but he seems to be reasonably well,” Mr Downer told Sky News contributor Steve Price. “In any case even if he wasn’t well and he retired or died or whatever happened, he would be replaced and don’t be so sure he’d be replaced by somebody more liberal and more reasonable or more pro-western. “Because I don’t think that is the sentiment in Russia at all.” |
