The Purple Berry strain that I got from The Grow House was one of the better purple type strains that I've had the pleasure of reviewing and I'm pretty stoked that I grabbed some from The Grow House when I did. It makes sense that Purple Berry was so good when you look at the strains it was made from, the always popular Granddaddy Purple strain and the delicious Blueberry strain. Very good parent strains if you're asking me! Purple Berry is a hybrid weed strain that favours heavily towards the Indica side of things sitting at a 80/20 Indica/Sativa ratio and averaging about 18% THC levels as well. Now even though Purple Berry is an Indica dominant hybrid, its effects show signs of the sativa side to the hybrid strain as it's been known to help you focus and do some type of creative activity but also giving you a nice calming body high. When I first took a look at the Purple Berry strain I thought to myself that it looks much like a sativa strain because of the way the buds were on the stem. It's a very nice looking strain with a great green colour and dark leaves throughout the bud. The crystals and red hairs were also a nice touch to the initial look of the bud. I noticed as well that the buds weren't as dense as most Indica strains that I've reviewed and they had a bit of a squish to them too. Busting up Purple Berry to roll a joint of it isn't so bad either as I didn't feel much stickiness on my fingers afterwards but only a nice layer of crystals instead. Now that I've told you that Purple Berry isn't too terrible to bust up with your fingers, I recommend doing so and rolling up a nice joint of it as you won't be disappointed. Purple Berry has a really pleasant sweet, berry smell that you will really notice as you bust it up. There is some slight nuttiness undertones to it as well. Light that delicious smelling joint up now and give that bad boy a taste! The flavour Purple Berry has to offer is just wonderful, you get a delicious blueberry flavour that stems from the parent strain, Blueberry. In the end I was very happy with trying out Purple Berry from The Grow House the online dispensary in Canada. If you can get your hands on some I would suggest doing so! I enjoyed smoking Purple Berry and just tackling some writing that I needed to get done and jamming out to some tunes.
