| Video Discription | We often demonstrate a lot of letterpress printing in our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum, but not many people get to see the cleaning process. In this video, Jared shows the full cleaning process sped up a bit because the full video is almost 12 minutes long. We use 1K kerosene as a solvent to clean the ink off of our 10x15 Chandler & Price Gordon-style jobbing press. This was after a press run where Howard printed 150 posters that are now available in our museum store.
