Subscribe My Channel Here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8hVypwJ5hKG3IWfJYOlQ2g?sub_confirmation=1 Ingredients: Rice - 2 Cups, Water - 3.5 Cups, Tamarind - 150 grams, Green Chillies - 15, Ginger Slices, Jaggery - A small piece, Salt, Turmeric, Oil, Extra virgin olive oil (Optional), Chana Dal - 2 Tbsp, Urad Dal - 1 Tbsp, Mustard seeds - 2 Tsp, Peanuts - little, Cashews - little, Red Chillies, Curry Leaves, Fenugreek Powder - A Pinch, Hing - A pinch. Procedure: Step 1 - Making of Tamarind Paste First rinse and soak the tamarind. Take the juice out of tamarind as shown in the video. Add salt, turmeric, green chillies(10) and ginger slices to the tamarind juice. Cook until it’s thick. At the end add little jaggery to it. Once the tamarind is thick turn off the flame and keep it aside. Step 2 - Cooking rice Pressure Cook the rice for 3 minutes on high pressure in instant pot. Add little oil to the rice and cook, so that the rice won’t be sticky. Take the rice into a wide mixing bowl, add turmeric, curry leaves and extra virgin olive oil. Mix well. Step 3 - Seasoning Heat oil in a pan add Chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, peanuts, cashews, red chillies, green chilli slices, curry leaves, fenugreek powder and hing. Fry them well. Add Tamarind paste and tadka to the rice in batches. Adjust tamarind paste and salt per your taste. Add extra virgin olive oil to the rice while mixing.
