| Video Discription | Hey everyone, here is a very yummy, fast meal that some can be made ahead of time for a even faster put together!all of this meal is done in the Instapot You will need approximately 3 lbs of chicken thighs Fill instapot with water to max line Salt and pepper Celery, chopped Onion,small, chopped Salt and pepper 2 tablespoons butter Cornstarch Cold water Milk, 1/4 c 2 cup self rising flour 1 cup milk 1 large egg Parsley Set to pressure cooker for 40 minutes, then let natural release for 1 hour. Take the chicken out of the pot and I to a colander. Pour the broth into separate bowls, set aside Put 2 tablespoons butter into the pot,turn into saute setting,add chopped onion and celery. Let saute til tender. Add the chicken back in pot,add all of the broth. Let cook in saute til boiling. Mix the cold water and corn starch, add to the broth, let boil and slightly thicken. Add 1/4 c milk. Mix, let simmer In boil, add flour,egg,and 1 cup milk. Mix well, cover and set aside. I cover with plastic wrap. Bring the broth mixture to a gentle boil,then add the raw dumplings to broth, large spoonful at a time til all in the broth. Cover, let cook, not boiling, for approximately 10 minutes. The dumplings will be stiff. Ready to serve and enjoy!! Willis and Denise @lazykmountainhomestead3476 , separate skin, bones, any gristle from the meat. Rough chop meat. Set aside |
