| Video Discription | * (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Knoxville, Tennessee — On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at around 7:40 a.m., two Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a reported domestic situation involving a man, 25-year-old Jamauri Griffin, armed with a gun at ex-girlfriend's home in the 4700 block of Santala Drive. The officers arrived at the scene at around 7:50 a.m. Officers entered the home and announced themselves as KPD officers. Seconds later, they encountered Griffin armed with a handgun, who then shot 23-year-old woman who was inside of the home. Officers fired in response, striking Griffin at least one time. Officers immediately requested medical assistance. Griffin was ****ounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to the UT Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the face.
