A great shampoo bar pH should be between 4.6 and 6.5 For it to be pH balanced, the pH should be 5.5 but this is not really necessary. From experience making shampoo bars for different clients, 4.6 to 6.5 is very comfortable for the skin. Note: There is no way to adjust the pH of your shampoo bar once you make it. To ensure your shampoo bar is within the above pH range, ensure your formula is stable.
