Video Discription |
In this video we'll take a glance at the story of life in the Permian. Perhaps most importantly from our perspective, the therapsid born cydodonts enter the story, and in the coming period will in turn evolve further into mammals. But the Permian period wasn't particularly concerned about the Cynodonts, as there was so much going on. We'll take a look at the plants and animals of on land before turning to the water where we'll consider reef producers like sponges and corals and other marine life. Oh, right, death, lots of death.
