| Video Discription | The Huntington Beach Fire (HBFD) has welcomed a new canine crewmember to the Department. Kingman, a 3-year old black lab, just started as a Peer Support Dog with the HBFD in February of this year. A new role for the Department, the Peer Support Dog provides emotional support to members of the Fire Department, Police Department, and the community. The addition of Kingman is meant as a way to aid members of the City’s public safety team in overcoming trauma and emotional grief experienced in the workplace and their day to day operations. |
