| Video Discription | Semiya Payasam, well known Indian Traditional sweet recipe. * sugar can be reduced as per taste * fresh (cow) milk can be replaced with santan evaporated milk, full cream milk * best will be with combination of fresh milk & santan * water qty can be adjusted as you preferred , thick or watery pouring consistency * if the payasam become too thick aftr few hours, then add some hot water, heat in stove for few minutes, then it will reach pouring consistency * daun pandan added just to get the nice aroma of the payasam (it's not original payasam way) * semiya can be added whole box or use only half of it. as per individual preferrence * keep stir while cooking it, especialy aftr add in the milk & sugar Serve with vadai .....yummy ! Payasam Ingredients : 1/2 cup sago 2 cup fresh milk (can mix santan/ coconut milk) 1.5 liter water + 300ml water 1 & quarter cup coarse sugar Pinch of salt yellow food coloring 2 pcs daun pandan 4 -5 cardamon pods 2 tablespoon ghee handfull amount for cashews handfull amount raisins semiya (half box or full one box) |
