| Video Discription | paraovarian cysts are remnants of paramesonphric ducts. They are symptomatic but can produce acute abdomen when they complicate as torsion, rupture or haemorrhage.They are diagnosed by usg. Laparoscopic cystectomy is done only when they are symptomatic or more than 10 cm in size.They are present in broad ligament and then can be very well separated from the loose cellular tissue around the cyst. After separation ,cyst can be punctured and content is aspirated to reduce the volume they can be removed through the 5mm port |
