When Jesus conquered the cross of cavalry, God wanted us to be conquerors as well. Whatever we do not conquer, will someday conquer us. How can we turn our weaknesses into strength? 1. Enjoying our weaknesses - 2 Corinthians 12:10 -Usually, people boast about acjievements and want to transmit an image of strength to others because we think they will respect us. 2 Corinthians 11:30 2. Knowing God's power works in weaknesses - 2 Corinthians 12:7 - Paul used the word "thorn" to describe a sharp object that torments him producing a continuing pain and suffering - something that came from satan. - If there's condemnation, it's not from God, it's from the enemy. 2 Corinthians 12:9 God's power works not in how good we are, but in how weak we are. The more we feel.humanly, the more we experience the power of God spiritually. Is there something in your life that you're asking God to take away and yet it remains? It is there for a greater purpose - to keep us from stray away from God. 3. Hoping for God's help in times of need - Hebrews - 4:14-16 - Jesus understands what is going on with us in our weaknesses. - Tears have many different meanings that only God can understand. God does not excuse sins but He understands our weaknesses and will provide us the grace that we need to get us back to our faith and our service to Him. |
