| Video Discription | Paal poli recipe, a classic South Indian dessert where pooris are dunked in cardamom flavored, reduced sweetened milk. In Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, it goes by different names like paal poori, milk poli, halu obbattu, poori payasa, and halu holige. Ingredients: Milk-1liter Almonds-15 nos Sugar- 6 tbsp Saffron- few strands Cardamom-1/2 TSP Maida-3/4 cup Oil to deep fry poli Preparation: • Knead maida flour by adding little salt, oil and water.keep aside. • soak almonds in hot water for 1/2an hour • take a heavy bottomed vessel and pour 1 litre of milk, in medium flame for 10 mins • stir once in a while to avoid milk doesn't stuck in the bottom • meanwhile peel off almond skin and grind into paste by adding little milk • add the ground almonds into the milk • let milk boil for 2 mins • add sugar and stir • add saffron which is soaked in milk for 2 mins • add cardamom and let boil for another 10 mins • meanwhile knead maida dough into 12 equal parts,roll out like poori • heat pan with oil and deep fry the poori • drop hot poori in the thickened milk one by one • your milk poli is ready to serve hot • or you can refrigerate and serve chill. #milkpolirecipe #milkbolirecipe #paalpoli #milkboli #paalpoori #paalpoorirecipe #krishnajayanti #milksweet #janmashtami #millionflavours #milkdessert #indianmilkdessert #indiansweet #doodhpoori #doodhpoli #indianflavours |
