With 18,500 of our closest friends we watched as the "Rocket Man" rocked the house for over 3 hours followed by fireworks atop the Sprint Center. Watch as Elton John Officially Acknowledges being the First Performer in the Sprint Center! (NOTE: This video was taken with a 100% Sprint Center and Performer approved digital camera.) It was an amazing night and the culmination of many long years of work by thousands of people not only in the arena itself but in the public domain, and in those who had the faith to purchase downtown knowing a new day was dawning.
