| Video Discription | Kamaru worked for Noah Zaiter, Lebanon's biggest cannabis dealer, for 3.5 years. She contacted TIL in March 2020 terrified, depressed, pale, weak and thin. She had not been paid for 19 months and was desperate to leave the house. Every time she asked for her salary, she was beaten. Escape was considered but thought to be too dangerous, since Noah had threatened to shoot her. Kamaru did manage to escape in July 2020 and was repatriated in April 2021, after a long period of waiting for her papers to be completed (Noah had kept her undocumented).
