The mission is a joint Chinese-Pakistani venture, with the Chinese rocket carrying Pakistani satellite ICUBE-QAMAR. The rocket will be launched from Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan province, China. It will be Pakistan’s first foray into lunar orbit. The mission is named after Chinese goddess Chang’e.
