| Video Discription | The Howick Historical Village covering 7acres contains a more than 30 original buildings dating to the 1800's which were brought to the site for restoration and conservation. Put together entirely by volunteers the village opened to the public in 1980. Incredibly well done and absolutely worth a visit, there is a pretty decent cafe as well which I can attest does an excellent eggs Benedict :) Thanks to Brian (who grew up and still lives in the area) now retired, for his guided tour and kindly sitting in a couple of the interior shots. https://www.historicalvillage.org.nz #HowickHistoricalVillage #Auckland |
