#deconstructedbloom #fluidart #arttherapy
Hi all! I was so taken with the S pattern during the live demo a couple of videos ago that I think I'm going to make it a series! This deconstructed bloom is for the winner of the 75k giveaway; she chose the colors and I upgraded her to a 12X24 because she's been waiting forever for this painting. Thanks for your patience Debbie! I really like the composition of this! Please let me know if you have any color combos in mind for the next one!
HUGE shout out to my Patreons! Katherine, Lorrie, Barbara, Christine, Lori, Vicki; Barbara B., Carol, Anna, Jax, Jane, Allison, Angela, Carly, Dianne; Lori W., Sparkle, Simona, Peggy; Tricia, Angela D., Tamison, Elise, Reeny, Judy, Feathers, and Amy! THANK YOU so much!

Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the substrate:
PPG Multi-Pro in Eggshell.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe—mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); JoSonja Gloss Varnish 2:1 ratio paint to varnish. Mix well.
Brands/Colors mixed:
This Little Piggy (TLP) pigments in Parakeet and Lagoon and Golden Iridescent Gold Fine.
Golden, Atelier, and Da Vinci Fluid Acrylics-- I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade. Mix well.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick then I'll add a teaspoon of varnish/water to thin. (I make a bottle of "Jo-Wa" by adding 1/3 JoSonja Gloss Varnish and the rest water, and keep it in a squeeze bottle and use as my "water.")
All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator Color:
Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Blue Violet. 3:1 ratio Floetrol to paint.
